Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Sorya Music's distribution platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms of service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Intellectual Property Rights

You retain 100% ownership of your music, master rights, and publishing rights. By submitting your music, you strictly grant Sorya Music a non-exclusive license to distribute, monetize, and stream your content to requested digital service providers worldwide.

3. Royalties and Payouts

Sorya Music will collect royalties on your behalf and remit them to your account according to our standard fee structure. Payouts are processed monthly once your balance reaches the minimum threshold of $50 USD. Detailed analytics are provided for full transparency.

4. Prohibited Content

Users may not upload content that infringes upon third-party copyrights, promotes hate speech, or violates the specific content guidelines of major digital stores (e.g., Spotify, Apple Music). Violations may result in immediate account suspension and withholding of royalties.

5. Account Termination

You may terminate your account and issue takedown requests for your music at any time without penalty. Sorya Music reserves the right to terminate accounts that engage in fraudulent streaming practices or breach these Terms of Service.

6. Artificial Streaming & Fraud Prevention

Any attempt to artificially manipulate play counts, streams, or follower numbers—whether through automated bots, click farms, or third-party "guaranteed stream" services—is strictly prohibited. We actively monitor and collaborate with Digital Service Providers (DSPs) like Spotify and Apple Music to detect anomalous streaming patterns. If flagrant artificial streaming is detected on your content, we reserve the right to freeze your royalties, issue takedowns of the offending content, pass on any DSP-issued financial penalties to your account, and permanently ban you from our platform.

7. Metadata Accuracy and Compliance

You are strictly responsible for providing accurate and compliant metadata (including artist names, track titles, ISRC codes, and contributor roles) for all uploaded content. All tracks must correctly flag "Explicit" or "Clean" content. The use of marketing terms (e.g., "Official", "Exclusive") in titles is prohibited. Furthermore, you must fully disclose the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in your compositions or recordings when required by the platform. Inaccurate or misleading metadata may result in delivery rejections, content takedowns, or account suspension.
